PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER

What You Will Do

As a Personal Support Worker, you will use your experience in homecare and companion services to assists our clients with non-medical, day-to-day needs. You may help with general care such as dressing, bathing, or dietary needs, light house-keeping, or companion services such as conversation or a short walk. You will be the first line of support, caring for our clients in their own homes.


Who You Are

  • You are passionate about helping others. Our clients are mainly seniors who require a compassionate and caring hand. You enjoy working with seniors and show an aptitude and commitment to this line of work.

  • You are certified. You have a PSW/HSA Certificate, or a minimum of five-years of verifiable homecare experience. You must have valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C training in the past three (3) years, or training must be acquired prior to employment. You must maintain your certification as a condition of employment.

  • You are able to travel. Our PSWs must be able to provide support anywhere in Greater Toronto Area. While we try to schedule you close to your home, travel may be required. You must have a valid G license and a reliable vehicle. 

  • Your background is clean. Given the nature of our work, you must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check within the past six (6) months, or clearance must be provided prior to employment.
